TRINITY WEEKLY BULLETIN - Week commencing 21st April 2025

Whole School Updates

Homework

Following on from the email sent on 31st March, please can we remind you to familiarise yourselves with our updated homework vision and expectations, as these will take effect from the start of the Summer Term. If you have any queries please email your child's teacher.

5* Hygiene rating for school kitchen

Well done to Jill and her team in the school kitchen for maintaining their 5* hygiene rating during a recent assessment by The Environmental Health Organisation. This is the equivalent of getting 100% and Jill has achieved this for over 5 years, which is incredibly difficult to achieve.

House points total for Term 4

Well done to pupils in Orwell House who are the winners of this term's house points. Anyone in Orwell class is welcome to come into school on Friday 25th April in non-school uniform.

Meal price increase

From next term, for those pupils who pay for their lunch, our school meal price will increase to £2.93 per meal. You do not need to do anything, as the price increase will automatically appear on your School Gateway app when you book a school meal.

Happy Easter from FOTS

Your child will be coming home today with an Easter egg courtesy of FOTS. At the end of the summer term, children will have the FOTS summer fair to look forward to. FOTS are always in need of parents to support events like this, whether it's manning your class stall for an hour or helping with the organisation, so if anyone is keen to get involved please visit https://www.friendsoftrinityschool.com/help

Clubs for Summer Term

Please remember to sign your child(ren) up for clubs for the Summer Term.  Clubs do not always mirror our term dates, so please check with the club provider what dates they are running sessions.

Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 & 4)

Choir reminder (Year 4 only)

As per Miss Hart's email, for any children in Junior Choir, please can parents wait with their child until they are met by Miss Hart and not leave them outside school. From next term, Mrs Calderbank will be starting a new musical group, for children in Years 3-6 who already play a musical instrument. Places are limited to 15 players and the experimental orchestra will take place on Tuesdays between 3:15-4:15pm. To apply for a place please CLICK HERE to fill in the Google form.

We have had to move the Silver expedition from 8th May to Monday 19th May as Miss Hart is no longer available on the 8th. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
