The Stay and Play sessions will give parents and carers the opportunity to spend time in the classroom alongside their child, experiencing first-hand how learning takes place in the Early Years. The sessions are designed to help families understand the EYFS curriculum, see the types of play-based activities children engage in, and learn how these experiences support key areas of development such as communication, early maths, and personal, social, and emotional growth. They also provide a wonderful chance for parents to observe their child’s learning, talk to staff, and gain ideas for supporting learning through play at home. Above all, our Stay and Play sessions aim to strengthen the partnership between home and school, creating a shared understanding of how we can work together to give every child the best start in their education.
