Nominations open for 2026 Community Champion Awards - Henley Herald
Coats
Please send your child to school with a coat. Children go outside several time a day, unless it is raining heavily, so they need a coat in school every day. If your child has recently lost a coat, please send them to the office as we have several un-named coats that we would like to return.
School Fund
Despite our school being full (we receive funding per pupil), like most state-funded primary schools, Trinity has had to find ways to supplement its government funding. Despite our best efforts to manage budget cuts, additional support is now essential to maintain the high standard of education we are committed to delivering. To help us continue this, we are asking parents and carers to consider making a regular monthly donation to the Trinity Primary School Education Fund.
We believe in transparency, so every time the School Fund is used, contributors will be informed about how much was spent and what it was used for. For more details please visit www.trinityprimaryschool.org/fund and if you are able to make a donation please click on the DONATE link.
We need your vote
Congratulations to 1, 2, 3 Sing Choir lead by the wonderful Mrs Calderbank for reaching the National Finals of the School Song Competition. It's too expensive for schools to travel for a live final, so this year the shortlisted entries have been uploaded to their website and you have the opportunity to vote for Trinity's entry. Regardless of whether they win or not, this is a fantastic achievement, especially considering they wrote the song themselves. Please vote by 30th October: The School Vision Vote
Head lice
Please check your child/ren for head lice and treat as per the NHS guidelines. Wet combing is the most effective way to get rid of lice and will need to be done at least twice per week for two weeks to be effective.
Term ends Thursday 22nd October at 3:15pm
Please remember that we have an inset day for staff only on Friday 23rd October, meaning the last day of Term 1 will be Thursday 22nd October. Please note it is normal pick up time of 3:15pm.
FOTS updates
- Neon Day – This was an incredibly tough decision, due to the fantastic effort all round, but congratulations to MURPHY class for winning best dressed class during NEON DAY. Pupils in Murphy class will get an extra 15 minutes of playtime next week.
- Glow in the Dark disco - Last shout out to get your tickets for the Glow in the Dark disco: DISCO TICKETS.
- FOTS Santa Fun Run - on the last day of next term, Friday 18th December, FOTS will be offering pupils an exciting opportunity to take part in the FIRST EVER FOTS Santa Fun Run. Sponsorship forms will be coming home next week and we hope many pupils will take part. School ends at 1:15pm and the run will start at 1:30pm. The FOTS team will be on the playground selling refreshments and all participants will be given a Santa hat. The run will take place on our school field. More details will follow over the coming weeks, but please make a note of the date.
Thank you
Thank you to all of the parents who gave up their time this week to accompany our pupils to the Henley Literary Festival. Without your help, we wouldn't be able to facilitate trips like this.
