  • Spring Fun Run

    Published 23/05/25

To end the term, Trinity School took part in a 'Spring Fun Run' to raise money for our partnership school in Uganda - New Brainstorm School. Every child decorated a headband and all took part in a run around the field, which meant that someone was running throughout the whole school day. Thank you so much for your donations so far.

  • Girls Football Tournament success

    Published 23/05/25

On Wednesday 21st May, several KS2 girls joined Sacred Heart, Badgemore and Valley Road in a Football Tournament at Henley YMCA. Year 5/6 came second against a very strong team from Valley Road, showing incredible sportsmanship and great teamwork. Year 3/4 came first and second, and with just one point in it a fabulous fourth.

It was a fantastic afternoon, despite the thunderstorm and heavy rain and Mrs Evans was really proud of everyone. Well done girls!

  • Stonor Park Fun Run

    Published 19/05/25

On Sunday 18th May several families came together at Stonor Park to run 340m (EYFS), 780m (KS1), 920m (LKS2) or 1850m (UKS2 and adults). Trinity children (and parents) did remarkably well and there were several Trinity families on the podium. A huge well done to everyone who participated, and a special mention to Oscar who encouraged his sister, in Y1, all the way around the course, even running alongside as she came in first.

It was fantastic to see so many Trinity families - next year, let’s try for the trophy with the most participants from one school. Well done everyone.

  • Trinity win Swimarathon trophy for sportsmanship and teamwork

    Published 31/03/25

On Friday 28th March, we were invited to attend an award ceremony to receive The President’s Cup, having participated in the Swimarathon at Braywick Leisure Pool in January.  We managed to raise a total of £1028.75, but it was our support for one another and our positive sportsmanship and teamwork that helped us gain the cup. Well done to everyone who took part and a very special thanks to the children who came along on Friday evening.

  • Red Nose Day 2025

    Published 24/03/25

This year, the children have been busy being funny to raise money for Comic Relief by hosting a joke competition in each class. The school council then read through each class's winning joke and voted for the overall winner – well done to Enzo in Zephaniah class!

Throughout the day classes took part in different Red Nose Day activities, such as quizzes, pin the red nose on the teacher, guess the laugh and design their own red noses.

Thank you so much for your donations, so far we have raised £296! Donations can still be made via the link: https://www.justgiving.com/page/trinity-ce-primary-school-9?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL

  • World Book Day

    Published 10/03/25

World Book Day is always a highlight for pupils (and teachers).  This year children took part in a masked reader competition, where children had to guess which teachers were reading famous stories to them, while not showing their faces. They also took part in a word-based treasure hunt around the school site to unscramble words, which made up a well-known sentence from Winnie the Pooh. They all engaged in lots of fun activities in class, all based around our school book 'The Word Collector' and our whole school assembly celebrated the children who took part in our Extreme Reading Challenge, where children we photographed reading in unusual places outside.

  • Visit from Commonwealth Games Gymnast Steve Frew goes down a storm

    Published 24/02/25

The children really enjoyed a visit from Steve Frew, British artistic gymnast and gold medalist at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. Children took turns in completing a fun exercise circuit and then delighted in seeing Steve back flip, balance and leap over some (not so relaxed) volunteers during an assembly.

Thank you to everyone who has donated and contributed to funding some more exciting playground pieces. Last count, we had reached nearly £2,000, which is super close to our target.

  • SIAMS inspection recognises Trinity is living up to its foundation as a church school

    Published 24/02/25

SIAMS - the Statutory Inspection for Anglican and Methodist Schools - takes place every five years (our recent inspection being delayed due to Covid) because the Church has a legal obligation to inspect and report on religious education, collective worship and pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. Our recent inspection report highlights a range of positive aspects about school life at Trinity and we are most proud of how the inspectors noted our outward-looking culture and high levels of inclusivity for the whole school community.

Thank you to those parents who spoke to the inspector as part of the process and shared the positive experiences their children have had at our school.

The inspector notes two main development points about the new RE curriculum which we launched in September 2024; we believe this to be a fair assessment of where we are at with embedding the new scheme and we will continue to develop this over the academic year. The SIAMS inspector looked at all elements of our school life - academic and wider provision and we were delighted to be awarded a Judgement 1 that we are living up to our foundation as a church school.

  • School mural winner is .....

    Published 24/01/25

Congratulations to Teddy W in Zephaniah class for winning the school mural competition. Teddy's design was one of three shortlisted and the whole school voted for their favourite. The design of the mural had to reflect our school vision, who is my neighbour, and we all believe Teddy's design really represented this beautifully.
