Upcoming FOTS events:

  • Crazy Hair Day – Friday 22nd May

Get ready to get creative! On the last day before half-term, we are hosting a Crazy Hair Day to raise funds for FOTS. We’d love every child to join in the fun by coming to school with their wackiest, wildest hairstyles — think bright colours, funky shapes, and lots of imagination! All proceeds will go towards our EYFS project. More info to follow!

The most creative class will win 15 minutes extra playtime!

We can’t wait to see the amazing hairstyles on display — let’s make it a fun (and slightly bonkers!) day for a great cause!

  • Cycle to Paris – Friday 12th June

It is now only 7 weeks until the charity bike ride to Paris. On Friday 12th June, 33 parents will start their journey from the Trinity playground. To celebrate this, there will be a French-themed breakfast for any supporters who want to come down and cheer them off after drop off.  They will then start their 330km ride at around 9:30am, hopefully arriving in Paris on Saturday evening. Thank you to everyone who has already supported the ride. For those who still want to donate here is the link:

  • Sports Day and Summer Fayre - Friday 5th June

Sports Day and the FOTS Summer Fayre are scheduled to take place earlier than in previous years, on Friday 5th June. Further details will be sent in due course for this much loved whole school event.

Ice Cream

Local gelato makers, The Scoop Room, have moved closer to Trinity and they are running a promotion for Trinity pupils. For any pupils visiting the Scoop Room on weekdays, wearing school uniform and quoting ''Trinity'' they will give a 10% discount to pupils and their parent / guardian.

Parenting Course

NOMAD Youth and Community Project will be delivering the well-regarded Time Out for Parents course this Autumn. This free, friendly, relaxed course is designed to equip parents of Primary school-aged children with helpful tools and encouragement for everyday family life. The course starts in September and runs from 10:00am – 12:00pm on Thursdays. If you would like more information or to book a place, please email debbieb@dtwo.co.uk or call 01491 635 734.

Recruiting for Teacher Training

Trinity is proud to be part of a growing partnership of schools leading the way in school-led teacher training, through our collaboration with OTT SCITT (The School of Teaching and Learning). We are excited to offer training placements across a variety of courses and take great pride in the role our staff play as mentors, co-deliverers, and supporters of the Associate Teachers training with OTT SCITT.

OTT SCITT provides a range of flexible training options, including full-time and part-time SCITT programmes and a salaried apprenticeship route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). With multiple Training Hubs across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, and Berkshire, OTT SCITT ensures a local base for your training, supported by a network of schools, peers, and experienced colleagues in your area.

See flyer at the bottom of this Bulletin and please visit the OTT SCITT website for full details and to book onto an information event or application support workshops: www.ott-scitt.org.uk
