TRINITY WEEKLY BULLETIN - Week commencing 29th June 2026

Whole School Updates

Thank you

A big thank you to FOTS for providing ice pops for the children during the recent hot weather. They were very well received by the children and offered a refreshing opportunity to cool down and rehydrate during the warm mornings.

Also a huge thanks to one of our parents, Mr McCarron and Palmac Electrical who have very kindly donated 20 brand new fans for the school, which are due to be delivered next week. We really appreciate your generosity and support.

Informing school of Absence

Plea from the Office Team to please include your child's surname and class when leaving us a voicemail or emailing us. This is especially important for anything relating to registers / attendance. Should we need to evacuate the school, it's really important that we know which pupils are and aren't in the building, so including these details really speeds up this process. Thank you!

Talent Show

The deadline for signing up to take part in the Trinity Talent Show is today, Friday 26th June, so please sign up if you are yet to do so:

Water Safety

After a number of published drowning incidents in our area and with the hot weather, we thought it wise to re-share these water safety guidelines from OCC:

  • Do not jump, dive or swim in open water unless it is a supervised, designated place.
  • Never go near water alone - stay with friends and make sure someone knows where you are.
  • Be aware that cold water shock can affect anyone, even strong swimmers, and can make it hard to breathe or move.
  • Rivers, canals and lakes may have hidden dangers under the surface such as rocks, rubbish, weeds, fishing line or sudden drops.
  • Do not take risks to impress others, including dares, bridge jumps or entering the water for social media content.
  • If you fall, try to stay calm, float on your back, keep your airway clear and control your breathing.
  • If you see someone in trouble, call 999 or 112, shout for help, and throw something that floats. Do not go in after them.
  • If possible, choose supervised swimming venues or pools instead of unsupervised open water.

FOTS Tea Towels

Reminder to order your child's class tea towel. Each year group has created a unique design featuring the children's self-portraits. They make a lovely keepsake and great gift for relatives, so remember to order: https://www.friendsoftrinityschool.com/product-page/trinity-tea-towel

Sunflower Festival

Henley have made it to the final of the 'Britain in Bloom' competition. We are one of four towns that will be judged in August. So, to secure a win, the Town Council have decided to host a Festival of Sunflowers from 1st-15th August.  Emily from Stonor Farm recently came in to plant sunflowers with some of our pupils. If your child was one of them, please can they bring their sunflower to the Market Place on or before 8th August.
